Solutions - Silicon Vendor

The Silicon Vendor Partner Program (SVPP) is an industry innovative program by EA Solutions that provides silicon vendors the competitive edge necessary for Linux based design wins. Program members receive a Platform Optimized Linux Solution specifically designed to showcase the differentiating hardware features of their product.

The Platform Optimized Linux Solution consists of an embedded Linux development and runtime environment customized for the silicon vendor hardware and requirements. The Solution may be freely distributed to the silicon vendor customers, enabling them to accelerate their product development with software already tuned and configured for the specific platform.

In addition to providing the Platform Solution, EA will submit and maintain the partners hardware platform BSP in the mainline Linux kernel.
